| Over het wijnhuis | Anita Neveu was vroeger professioneel wielrenster. Met dezelfde ‘drive’ stopt ze tegenwoordig al haar energie in het maken van Beaujolais-wijnen op Domaine Anita. Anita gebruikt daarvoor alleen terroirs van hoge kwaliteit. Daarmee maakt ze wijnen van de Gamay-druif die al diverse hoge scores kregen van gerenommeerde critici, waaronder Robert Parker, James Suckling en Wine Enthusiast. |
| Wijngaard en regio | Afkomstig uit de lieu-dit 'Château-Gaillard' in de appellatie Morgon. Deze wijngaard ligt op een ondergrond van schist, op een hoogte van 250 meter, en is gericht op het zuid/zuidoosten. De wijnstokken zijn 70 jaar oud. De druiven worden met de hand geplukt en geselecteerd in de wijngaard. |
| Vinificatie | 20% van de druiven wordt ontsteeld. Tijdens de gisting wordt de 'hoed' (de schilletjes die boven komen drijven) dagelijks naar beneden gedrukt om meer smaak en tannines te onttrekken. De gisting duurt 12 dagen. Na de gisting rijpt de wijn 6 maanden in cementen tanks en vervolgens 4 maanden in de fles. |
