| Over het wijnhuis | Het in 2000 opgerichte Toscaanse wijnhuis van de charismatische Bibi Graetz heeft de afgelopen twintig jaar een ware cultstatus bereikt. Het wijnhuis kent met zijn eigenzinnige wijnen én kunstzinnige etiketten vele liefhebbers. Daar hoort ook de internationale wijnpers bij, die inmiddels de topwijnen Colore en Testamatta jaarlijks zeer hoge punten toekent. |
| Wijngaard en regio | De druiven komen uit dezelfde wijngaarden in de omgeving van Fiesole die voor Testamatta worden gebruikt, maar dan van de jongere wijnstokken. |
| Vinificatie | De druiven worden vergist in RVS tanks. De vergisting duurt maximaal 7 dagen. Er wordt geen extra schilinweking gedaan. Daarna worden de verschillende wijngaarden geblend en rijpt de wijn nog 6 maanden in RVS tanks. |

Made with 100% Sangiovese, the wine offers pretty earthy notes, pressed flower, dried mint and iris. There are soft cherry and blueberry notes that cede to slate-like mineral notes. In fact, some of the fruit used here is declassified from the Testamatta program. This is an annual production of 20,000 to 30,000 bottles.
