| Over het wijnhuis | Het in 2000 opgerichte Toscaanse wijnhuis van de charismatische Bibi Graetz heeft de afgelopen twintig jaar een ware cultstatus bereikt. Het wijnhuis kent met zijn eigenzinnige wijnen én kunstzinnige etiketten vele liefhebbers. Daar hoort ook de internationale wijnpers bij, die inmiddels de topwijnen Colore en Testamatta jaarlijks zeer hoge punten toekent. |
| Wijngaard en regio | De wijn is vernoemd naar de single vineyard Vincigliata in Fiesole. De wijngaard is rijk aan galestro (poreuze steensoort die makkelijk breekt). De wijngaard is op het zuiden en zuidwesten gericht en is omgeven door een bos. |
| Vinificatie | De wijn wordt spontaan vergist met natuurlijke gisten in grote houten vaten (30 hl) zonder temperatuurregeling. Dit duurt 10 dagen, waarna de wijn nog enkele dagen schilinweking krijgt. De wijn rijpt vervolgens 18 maanden in oude grote houten vaten. |
