Yannick Evenou, die ooit verantwoordelijk was voor het runnen van Château La Dominique uit Saint-Émilion, heeft met veel ambitie het huis succesvol op de kaart gezet bij wijnliefhebbers. Het wijnhuis ligt op een bijzonder goed terroir met kalkbodems en wijngaarden aan de rivier Gironde met grindbodems. |

| Awards | "This has a polished nose of blueberry, plum, vanilla and ink. Hint of tobacco, too. It’s medium-bodied with firm, chalky tannins. Hand-picked and hand-destemmed grapes fermented in new barrels where the wine was aged for 18 months. The back label assures me I will be surprised by its power and elegance. Deep crimson. Now this is much more like it than the regular Ch Réaut! Really convincing on both nose and palate. I'm certainly impressed by the power but there is no alcoholic heat on the end. All nicely integrated and composed presenting an attractive blend of fresh leather, molasses (without the sugar) and liquorice.
