| Awards | "The blackcurrant and blackberries are really terrific with hints of black ink following through to a medium body with supercentered and intense fruit on the palate. The tannins are very integrated and refined for this estate. A top Beau-Site but needs time to soften. 74% cabernet sauvignon, 23% merlot and 3% petit verdot. Best after 2029." - James Suckling "Such an intensely aromatic nose, so open and expressive, generous and perfumed with dark black fruits. Ripe and scented, smells on the verge of potent and broad shouldered. Supple, but tannic, tannins make the immediate impression, liquorice, graphite and coffee laced so a little spiced but very stony, such minerality and chalkiness in the mouth. Tannins take the fore right now, but they're well worked, and this has a nice overall frame. This is striking, there’s no doubt there’s heft, and it’s not immediately charming but there’s a sense of style and intensity here that is quite impressive. A yield of 25hl/ha.
