| Over het wijnhuis | Quiot wordt vaak in één adem genoemd met de Zuidelijke Rhône. Quiot is eigenaar van meerdere wijngaarden in de belangrijke dorpen in de Rhône, waaronder Vacqueyras, Gigondas en Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Quiot heeft echter niet alleen domeinen in de Rhône. De familie bezit namelijk ook het prachtige wijnhuis Domaine Houchart in de Provence, bestemd voor de productie van rosé. |

| Vinificatie | De druiven ondergaan een koude schilweking om kleuren en smaken te onttrekken. Daarna wordt het sap vergist op een gecontroleerde temperatuur gedurende drie weken. De most wordt twee keer per dag overgepompt. Hierdoor krijgt de wijn meer kleur, tannine en smaak. De wijn rijpt nog een jaar, waarvan 10% in eikenhout. |
