| Over het wijnhuis | Château Léoville Poyferré is 2ème Cru Classé uit Saint-Julien. De oorsprong van het château gaat terug tot 1638. In die tijd was Léoville het grootste landgoed van de Médoc, maar heeft verschillende eigenaren gekend die uiteindelijk resulteerden in een opsplitsing van het château in meerdere huizen. De in Bordeaux bekende Cuvelier-familie is sinds 1979 eigenaar van Château Léoville Poyferré. |

| Awards | "The 2019 Léoville Poyferré is showing very well in bottle, wafting from the glass with aromas of crème de cassis and wild berries mingled with notions of licorice, loamy soil, cigar wrapper and smoke. Full-bodied, velvety and polished, it's broad and enveloping, with an ample core of fruit, ripe tannins and succulent acids, concluding with a long, precise finish.
