Awards "The 2022 Moulin St Georges has turned out nicely, retaining its bright, vibrant signature despite the warmth of the vintage. Offering up aromas of cherries, berries, bay leaf and a deft touch of toasty oak, it's medium to full-bodied, supple and velvety, with good density and cut and a penetrating, mineral finish. It's produced from a seven-hectare, west-facing vineyard opposite Ausone that always ripens some 10 days later than Ausone itself." - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"Fresh and framed with a juiciness but also a coolness and brightness. Medium to full body. Very balanced. Well done. Lower pH at 3.52. 80% merlot and 20% cabernet franc." - James Suckling

"80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc. Cask sample. Dense and concentrated but fresh at the same time. A lick of vanilla oak on the nose and palate but not excessive and should integrate. Finely honed tannins. (JL)" - Jancis Robinson

"The 2022 Moulin Saint-Georges has really opened up on the nose since tasting from barrel. It's plusher and opulent than it showed then, with layers of black cherry, cassis fruit, orange pith and glycerine. The palate is medium-bodied and velvety smooth, with lush tannins and a dash of cracked black pepper on the finish. There is structure and sapidity here. This is a stylish Moulin Saint-Georges that should age well." - Vinous

"Very deep and seductive on the nose, ripe concentrated fruit - feels a bit hot. Concentrated but creamy fruit with cocoa powder edges - luscious, really evocative, and high toned. The fruit is ripe and this is laced with liquorice and clove spice but there's a pristine element which gives a central line and focus. Oak is a touch apparent, but it will settle. This has gorgeous juiciness and a salty finish on the tongue. Really quite complex and lots to like with a limestone and cola freshness on the finish. 3.52pH. 100% new oak." - Decanter
