| Wijngaard en regio | Afkomstig uit één kleine perceel in het befaamde La Crau-gedeelte van Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Dit perceel werd aangeplant in 1905 en geeft lage opbrengsten. |
| Vinificatie | Na de oogst worden de druiven ontsteeld. Een deel van de druiven wordt gekneusd (afhankelijk van het oogstjaar). Vervolgens worden de druiven vergist in betonnen vaten. Dit kan, inclusief schilweking, tot 35 dagen duren. Na de gisting ondergaat de wijn een rijping in demi-muids (eikenhouten vaten van 640 liter). |

It's full-bodied and rich, and although the wood tannins do leave an impression, it's a gentle one relative to the wine's overall profile.
