| Wijngaard en regio | Afkomstig uit de climat Vaulorent in de Premier Cru-wijngaard Fourchaume, en gelegen naast de Grand Crus Preuses en Bougros. De wijngaarden zijn op het zuidwesten gericht, de bodem bestaat uit het kenmerkende kimmeridgien, een mengsel van klei, kalk en fossiele schelpdieren. De wijnstokken zijn tussen 1955 en 1975 geplant. |
| Vinificatie | De gisting vindt plaats op een gecontroleerde temperatuur in RVS tanks. Daarna rijpt de wijn op de gistcellen ('sur lie') gedurende 12 maanden, waarvan 20% in eikenhouten vaten. Dit maakt de wijn zachter en geeft de wijn extra complexiteit mee. |
