| Vinificatie | De druiven vergisten in horizontale tanks onder gecontroleerde temperatuur voor 12-15 dagen. Daarna rijpt de wijn 24 maanden in eikenhouten vaten, deels kleine en deels grote vaten. |

Very polished and ripe tannins for the vintage. Drink after 2027." - James Suckling "Serralunga d’Alba. Just mid ruby with orange tinges. Balsamic cherry nose growing in depth with aeration. Subtly complex, but with quite a bit of concentration. Polished, juicy fruit with finely ground tannins building up on the finish, adding grip to the lush cherry fruit. The Luigi Pira 2017 Barolo Vignarionda shows depth and width with a very rich quality of fruit.
