Wijngaard en regio | De druiven komen uit de cru Vignarionda, die in de comune (gemeente) Serralunga d’Alba in Barolo ligt. De wijngaard is aangeplant in 1994 en ligt op 330 meter boven zeeniveau. De ondergrond bestaat uit kalksteen en klei. De wijngaard ligt op het (zuid)westen. |
Vinificatie | De druiven vergisten in horizontale tanks onder gecontroleerde temperatuur voor 12-15 dagen. Daarna rijpt de wijn 24 maanden in eikenhouten vaten, deels kleine en deels grote vaten. |

Awards | "Very perfumed and classy on the nose with roses and lavender. Aromatic. Full-bodied with velvety tannins and a pretty presence in the glass. Very polished and ripe tannins for the vintage. Drink after 2027." - James Suckling "Serralunga d’Alba. Just mid ruby with orange tinges. Balsamic cherry nose growing in depth with aeration. Subtly complex, but with quite a bit of concentration. Polished, juicy fruit with finely ground tannins building up on the finish, adding grip to the lush cherry fruit. Very long and compelling and finely balanced.
