| Awards | "Comes from the Terroirs Romans co-op very close to Perpignan. It was sold to another négociant and then to Philippe Gayral with a certificate of authenticity. Approximately the same blend as the Riveyrac (mostly Grenache Noir and Grenache Blanc with a little bit of Malvoisie and Macabeu) but perhaps more pale grapes. Bottled 2021. Very pale tawny. Light nutty (walnuts? Then almonds) nose. Perhaps slightly less fruit than the 1990. But still very lively acidity. A little more fragile. As clean as a madeira. (JR)" - Jancis Robinson |
