| Over het wijnhuis | Château Doisy Däene is een 2e Grand Cru Classé gevestigd in Barsac, een gemeente in Graves die beroemd is geworden - net als Sauternes - om zijn zoete wijnen. Een wijnmaker mag hier zelf kiezen of hij zijn wijnen labelt onder AOC Barsac of AOC Sauternes. Château Doisy Däene dankt zijn naam aan een eerdere eigenaar, Jacques Däene, plus de naam van de wijngaard, Doisy. Na de familie Däene passeerden verschillende eigenaren de revue totdat Georges Dubourdieu het overnam in 1924 en Château Doisy Däene in ere herstelde. |

The palate is extremely well balanced and very pure: citrus fruit infusing the honeyed botrytis, veins of white peach and quince, leading to a very precise and sustained finish that leaves you with a smile on your face...and the wine ain't even finished yet!
