| Awards | "A complex and well-structured Pauillac with focused, fine-grained tannins. Graphite, fresh blackberries, ash, dark minerals and a touch of savoriness. Dense and really tight, with a full body and a long, compact finish. 70% cabernet sauvignon, 27% merlot and 3% cabernet franc. Drink from 2028." - James Suckling "Fragranced and highly aromatic on the nose - definitely touches of opulence in the dark fruit and perfumed scents. Acidity is on the sharp side but gets quickly overtaken by the fleshy fruit, clear oak spice and tightness of the tannins. It's a little compact still and doesn't have the easy drinking appeal of many others. I like the crushed stone minerality and elements of cool blue fruit but this needs more time to harmonise and doesn't feel like the oak is fully absorbed yet." - Decanter |
