Over het wijnhuis	Het historische wijnhuis van Dr. Bürklin-Wolf behoort niet alleen tot de absolute top van de Duitse wijnregio Pfalz, maar zelfs tot de wijngrootheden van Duitsland. Het wijnhuis heeft een indrukwekkend en zeer uitgebreid bezit in een aantal van de mooiste wijngaarden van de Pfalz. Dr. Bürklin-Wolf werkt volledig biologisch-dynamisch om wijnen met zoveel mogelijk terroirexpressie te maken. En of dat is gelukt! De (altijd droge) Rieslings van Dr. Bürklin-Wolf combineren de kracht en rijkheid van de Pfalz met een waanzinnige finesse en plaatsgebondenheid.
Wijngaard en regio	Afkomstig uit de wijngaard Goldbächel in het dorp Wachenheim in de Mittelhaardt in de Duitse wijnregio Pfalz. De wijngaard ligt op een heuvel richting het zuiden, met veel zon. De bodems bevatten veel (rood en geel) zandsteen en daarnaast gravel. Diep in de bodem zit een laag met alluviaal gesteente. Enkel het oudste gedeelte van de wijngaard wordt gebruikt voor de productie van deze cuvée.
Vinificatie	De druiven worden als hele trossen geperst. Het sap wordt spontaan vergist. De wijn rijpt in grote, gebruikte eikenhouten vaten. De wijn rijpt daarbij 'sur lie', wat de wijn extra complexiteit en romigheid geeft.
Kleur	Lichtgeel.
Geur	Exotisch fruit, peer, citroenschil. Ook specerijen, vuursteen en witte bloemen.
Smaak	Sappige en elegante Riesling met exotisch fruit en heldere, verfijnde zuren.
Serveren bij	Lekker bij een varkenskarbonade met mosterdlak.
