| Wijngaard en regio | Afkomstig van de cru-wijngaard Bricco Ambrogio in de comune (gemeente) Roddi in Barolo. Deze steile, op het zuiden/zuidoosten gerichte wijngaard bestaat uit kalkhoudende klei en ligt op 280-320 meter boven zeeniveau. |
| Vinificatie | Traditionele vergisting met een schilweking van 20 tot 30 dagen. Daarna ondergaat de wijn een rijping in grote houten vaten gedurende 24 maanden. Na de houtrijping rijpt de wijn nog 8 tot 10 maanden in de fles. |
