| Over het wijnhuis | De Barbaresco-streek bestaat uit 4 communes: Barbaresco, Treiso, Neive en San Rocco. Pasquale Pelissero is een klein wijnhuis in de commune Neive. Na het overlijden van Pasquale heeft dochter Ornella de operationele leiding overgenomen. Haar wijngaarden bieden prachtig uitzicht op het bekende torentje van Barbaresco. |
| Wijngaard en regio | Afkomstig van de oude wijngaard "Bricco San Giuliano" in Barbaresco, een DOCG in het noordwesten van Italië. De wijngaard is gelegen op 400 meter boven zeeniveau. |
| Vinificatie | De gisting vindt plaats in RVS tanks op een gecontroleerde temperatuur gedurende 10 tot 15 dagen. Daarna rijpt de wijn twee jaar in eikenhouten vaten van 25-30 hectoliter, gevolgd door een half jaar op de fles. |
