| Wijngaard en regio | De druiven komen uit wijngaarden in verschillende cru's (Bricco Voghera, Cerrati en Meriame) in de comune (gemeente) Serralunga d’Alba in Barolo. De wijngaarden liggen op 300-400 meter boven zeeniveau en liggen op het zuidoosten en westen. De bodems bestaan uit kalksteen en tufsteen. |
| Vinificatie | De druiven vergisten voor 15-20 dagen op een temperatuur van 25-30 graden, waarbij de wijn regelmatig wordt overgepompt van het ene naar het andere vat. De wijn rijpt vervolgens 30 maanden in grote vaten (20-40 hl) van Slavonisch eiken. |
